8/11/2011: I know a lot of people use this module, so I decided to update it. Being almost two years later, there's a huge difference (I just log a bunch more) and an additional header file. Comments welcome, as always.

There seem to be 2 obvious issues with this module:

    - if the LogChannel is NOT set in services.conf, this module will attempt to set it, but in doing so will cause random memory corruption in anope - possibly even leading to DB corruption & random crashes - because it doesn't properly allocate memory, yet anope will attempt to free it on restart or reload.
    - there s a memory leak in the function logging KILLs.

Of course the first of these 2 if much more serious since it will cause random crashes and random DB corruption.. the second will likely only slowly eat your memory..
The first can be worked around by ensuring that LogChannel is defined in your services.conf before loading this module.

My friend had this module, very nice mod. One thing is which /os logchan on your module echos some things, like BotServ add, etc. I would love to have this module, but I'm desperately waiting for you to fix the database corruption error, as Viper states.

Well, since Liber ain't there and I'm not the original author I can't update it for you in here, but you can download the new version (1.2) at http://www.scarynet.org/coder-com/patches/logchan.tar.gz

I fixed the corruption (and it's not a database corruption but a possible memleak). Also restructured/relayouted the module a little and simply only have it work if logchannel is defined.

    Enjoy!

Would anyone by chance have the DLL version of this for Win32? I'd love to update my old version since I'm still on the first version.

    Thanks!
